I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Dana. I am the owner, creator and educator behind The Flowering Table.

I’ve been crafting my entire life. There wasn’t a holiday that went by, growing up, that my mom didn’t have a few crafts for me to work on while on a school break. You name it, I’ve probably tried it (and my crazy craft closet can, embarrassingly, prove it!).

All of that experience is what ultimately led me to discovering the extraordinary world of crepe paper flowers. I was originally looking for DIY flower backdrops for my daughter’s birthday. That’s when I first discovered how stunningly beautiful and realistic crepe paper flowers can look. After a couple years of following other artists and dabbling here and there, I finally went full speed ahead at learning techniques and doing my own exploration.

After earning my Botanical Realism certificate through Flower & Jane, I have continued to devour all of the tutorials I can and soak in the knowledge and different techniques from the incredible paper flower community.

I primarily work on small and large scale custom commission projects. I work with each client to bring their visions to life and thoroughly enjoy revealing the resulting work of art!

Occasionally, as time allows, I release limited collections for purchase. Check back occasionally to see when the lasted collection is set to drop or sign up for emails.

Teaching the art of paper flowers has been such a delight! I partner with some beautiful venues to offer workshops on how to make paper flowers in the Northern California region.
